clanBox is a network website established for gamers, allowing individual clans, teams & players to create their own professional websites and profiles without having to have any knowledge of HTML or the internet.
The clanBox system supports multiple games, and multiple websites, meaning your login works on all of our sites and your profile is viewable on all of these sites. Users are even able to see what clans, games and squads you are associated with.
On just one clanBox website you can have multiple squads associated with multiple games, and even your members can be in more than one squad. Even your results are divided by squad or tournament!
Our widget system is definately superior aswell, giving you the ability to add almost anything to your columns such as a fixture calender, member information, a poll, latest comments, latest forum activity, users online, shoutbox and even live server information!
Along with all this, you will see a special coating of Asynchronous Javascript upon some of the elements within a clanBox site to speed some things up.
We designed it, as gamers, for gamers, as we know what is needed.
clanBox is an idea of mine that originally came into concept when I first started gaming. Through my gaming years I created and maintained many websites for many amateur clans. Whilst not all of these websites were identical, they were all comparable in design & functionality, differing every so slightly one way or another.
This is where the idea for clanBox was formed: a central website environment that catered to the needs of most clans.
My average weekday consists of work and school work, and in my spare time I tend to dabble in my own projects such as clanBox. When I am not working, which isn't very often, I try and spend as much time as i can away from the computer, normally expending time by riding or participating in some other form of excercise.
My goal is to be able to cut back my working hours, gradually focusing more & more time on clanBox.
I go by the name of Matthew Booth, and i am 21 years of age. I work part time at a local sports store, called JJB in my hometown of Southport, in the North West of England. I usually work Monday to Wednesday, leaving me with plenty of space time to do with whatever i see fit.
I still live with my Mum and her boyfriend, along with the two cats we have acquired over the last 10 years, one from my next door neighbour, and one from my Nan.
On my days off i like to design and develop web sites, and have thus given myself the title of Pro Web Designer! I have been desgning for about 6 years now, and am still loving it, and learning new things all the time. I have a lot of support from family and friends to take it further and finally make it my full time job.
I also like photography, thanks to my Dad, who gave me my first digital camera a while back. Its something i want to spend more time on in the future, as photography and web design go very well together
